Colorado Springs, Colo. -- The PIHA Rocky Mountain Division-leading Colorado Springs Thunder are gearing up to host the last-place Fort Collins Catz Saturday night, December 5th, at the Tour Arena in Colorado Springs. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the door or online now. The action is also available live over the internet on Justin.tv. Pro games are slated for 7:15 and 8:15 p.m., while the Thunder women and both the minor league teams will play as well – the Thunder women will face the Parker Prowlers women at 5:00 and 5:30, Front Range will take on the Loveland Catz at 6:00 and 6:30, while Black Forest will face off against Loveland at 9:15 and 9:45.

The Thunder are riding an eight-game winning streak, but aren't taking the cellar-dwelling Catz lightly. "This is our first set this season against the Catz and we can’t take them for granted just because of their record," said head coach Dave Needham. "We need to play hard in both games, and make sure we are strong at both ends of the floor. Great fan support doesn't hurt, either! We hope to see a full house on Saturday night!"

The Thunder offense is once again being paced by the dazzling duo of Brian Yingling and CJ Yoder. Yingling ranks second in the league with 31 points (15-16), while Yoder has notched 25 points (8-17), both in a mere 10 contests. Catz forwards Mike Jalonski and Brock Bookwalter have each tallied nine points in six games and are players to watch for Fort Collins.
